We are a “distance selling pharmacy”, or internet pharmacy. This means that we can offer a full range of essential NHS pharmacy services to you, on a non face-to-face basis. We deliver medicines to you, and can communicate with you by telephone, email, live chat, via our website, or other methods. We are also able to offer advanced NHS services, such as vaccinations, at our local sites. We are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, NHS England, and the Care Quality Commission. You can find out more about us here.
Dispensing prescriptions - We dispense and deliver medicines prescribed on NHS electronic prescriptions, and paper NHS and private prescriptions that you post in to us. We also dispense private prescriptions that result from consultations with our Online Doctor team. We will deliver medicines to any UK address but you must be registered with a GP practice in England in order to use the NHS Electronic Prescription Service. As part of our service, we offer advice on how to get the most benefit from your medication. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and efficient wholesaler service enabling us to dispense all prescriptions promptly. Learn more
All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to. Please remember: keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Our staff can advise you on safe storage of medicines.
Unwanted medicines – You can return unwanted medicines to us and we will dispose of them safely. Contact our customer care team for more advice.
Health advice and self-care - Our pharmacists and trained assistants are available to provide advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life. For example, we can advise on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. We can direct you to other sources of advice and assistance if we cannot help you ourselves. We have a selection of self-help articles on our website here.
Vaccination services - Each year we provide an NHS flu vaccination service to people aged 18 years and older who are eligible to receive a free vaccination. Find out more about our flu vaccination service here. We also offer a Covid vaccination service. These are available only in certain locations in England.
Patient records - We keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us as well as records of other services we provide to you. This helps us check for possible problems, such as reactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please speak to a member of staff.
