Our Team

Phil assists Pharmacy2U’s patients with their questions and prescriptions on a daily basis. He joined Pharmacy2U in 2000 and has helped us develop into the UK’s largest NHS registered pharmacy. He studied pharmacy at Nottingham University before working for Boots. In 2011 he completed a postgraduate qualification to become a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber. In 2013/14 he was the lead pharmacist in a University College London research study to assess the benefits of pharmacist advice for patients taking long term medicines.

Melanie is the Senior Pharmacist in Pharmacy2U’s dispensing facility. She performs clinical checks, managing the prescribed queries and operational queries. After graduating with a Masters of Pharmacy in 2006, Melanie gained clinical and managerial experience in community pharmacy before becoming a regular locum pharmacist for Pharmacy2U in 2008. She joined the team full time in 2015.

Nitin became Pharmacy2U’s Medical Director in 2012 following its acquisition of PrivateMeds Ltd. He read medicine at the University of Cardiff after completing his secondary education at the prestigious King Edward’s School in Edgbaston. He qualified as a doctor in 2003 and worked in a range of hospital departments including Cardiology, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT and Oncology.

Alexandra is a Portfolio GP who obtained her MRCGP examinations and qualified in 2014. She read Medicine at Newcastle University, qualifying in 2008 and has since worked in a range of specialities including Accident and Emergency, Acute Medicine, Psychiatry, Care of the Elderly, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Trauma and Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Intensive Care before undertaking her General Practice training.

Kevin joined the Pharmacy2U group in 2022 following a successful career in leadership with the Walgreens Boots Alliance. Kevin brings extensive skills and experience in UK-based and international consumer pharmacy and retail to the group. He has held positions within the Walgreens Boots Alliance including Commercial Trading Director and Vice President, Executive Board Director. Prior to joining Pharmacy2U, Kevin acted as a commercial and investment consultant for numerous brands and retailers.

Gary became Chief Operating Officer of Pharmacy2U at the time of its merger with ChemistDirect.co.uk in July 2016 where he has been the COO since May 2015. Gary is a chartered accountant with vast experience in senior financial and operational roles across of sectors, having worked for Ernst & Young, Citibank and Oracle. Gary’s area of expertise is within venture capital backed businesses, and he has recently been a director of Simply Switch, which was sold to DMGT plc.
