We're very pleased to have been winners at the 2019 Northern Tech Awards in Manchester. The awards provide a unique way of celebrating the innovative technologies and businesses developed in the region and recognise those who have contributed to their success. Our CEO Mark Livingstone collected the Judges' Entrepreneur Award which recognises “outstanding achievements, exemplifying qualities of effective leadership and innovation."

Mark commented: "I'm very proud to have added to our haul of awards with last night's win. Everyone in the organisation is responsible for the success and our continued development in being one of the most innovative businesses in the North. The victory builds on our win in the Amazon Growing Business Awards last year and reflects the strong momentum that the business has at the moment with even more success anticipated throughout 2019!".

We are very proud to be recognised at the DMA awards as a finalist in the ‘health & wellness’ category. We were also the only pharmacy business recognised by the DMA, which makes this win even more special. The DMA awards celebrate campaigns that show the best thinking, innovation and results in direct marketing.

Our direct mail campaign aimed at spreading the word about our unique NHS repeat prescription service secured us this impressive industry accolade.

We would like to thank our agencies and marketing team for their continuous efforts to drive awareness of our service and our growing patient community of over 150,000 members and counting for entrusting us with taking care of their repeat prescriptions.

Our patients have given us the best award by rating our service at 93% as “excellent” or “good” in our latest patient satisfaction survey.

Pharmacy2U continue our winning streak by picking up the award for Warehouse Operations at the CILT Annual Awards for Excellence. We nabbed the award for our revolutionary pharmaceutical dispensing and warehouse system, developed in partnership with Logistex.

The Annual Awards, hosted by the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport, recognise achievement and promote the highest standards in Logistics and Transport. Kevin Richardson, Chief Executive at CILT, said, "Our awards recognise those individuals and businesses who have made a significant contribution to the development of our professions."

Integrating a range of ground-breaking technologies, our new facility is enhancing efficiencies and capabilities both now and for future growth, increasing the capacity to 10 times that of the company’s previous system.

In September 2017, the facility dispensed a record 220,000 items, making it the most efficient singular dispensing hub in the UK.

Pharmacy2U has picked up two trophies at The Logistics Awards, for our revolutionary pharmaceutical dispensing and warehouse system, developed in partnership with Logistex. Our brand new dispensing hub won best ‘New Facility’ as well as ‘Overall Winner’.

The awards recognise operational excellence and celebrates the very best companies within the logistics and supply chain sectors.

The creation of the UK’s first centralised pharmacy is a ground-breaking moment in the re-engineering of pharmacy medicine supply in the UK. Utilising technology we helped create and working with Logistex, we are able to deliver high volume prescription orders direct to patients at a lower cost than the traditional High Street model. This allows us to meet the Government’s pharmacy commitment to increase efficiency whilst ensuring the highest level of clinical accuracy.
